Salvador:

First capital of Brazil, Salvador da Bahia is the Afro-Brazilian beating heart of the country. Stunningly beautifully located in a Peninsula between the Todos os Santos Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this city is a real treasure.

Having the largest ensemble of baroque architecture in the Americas, Salvador colorful historical cobbled stoned streets has a long and rich history, allied with a powerful Afro-Brazilian deep culture (the city has the largest African descendent population in a city outside of Africa) that has influences in its cuisine, music, dance and traditions. Al that and much more makes Salvador a unique destination in the world.

 

Day 1 – Salvador

 

Arrival, airport meet and greet and transfer to a charming colonial Pousada in the heart of the historical center of Salvador.

Day 2 – Salvador

 

In this Historic tour, you will get to know some of the most famous postcards of Brazil. We will start with a visit to the Barra’s Lighthouse, where you will have a few minutes to enjoy all the beauty and magnificence of the place and take several pictures. Arriving at the Historical Center, the tour is done walking around the narrow streets, slopes and many old houses, which will make you travel back in time. Squares, churches, museums and art galleries give a special charm to the Pelourinho. Highlights include: Terreiro de Jesus square, St. Francisco Church golden church, Museum da Misericórdia, Jorge Amado’s writer House and Olodum’s percussion group house, among other must-see attractions.

 

Day 3 – Salvador

Transfer to the international airport of Salvador.
